About Gavin
Gavin's practice focuses on corporate commercial law. He assists clients with a variety of business law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity transactions and corporate reorganizations and restructurings.
Gavin joined Blakes as a summer student in 2024 and completed his articles with the Firm in 2026. He received his JD from Queen's University.
Gavin holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science and criminal justice & public policy from the University of Guelph, and a master of arts degree in criminology & criminal justice policy from the University of Guelph.
