Alison practices in the Blakes inSource group, a division of Blakes that uses an alternative service delivery model to help clients meet their legal needs in innovative and effective ways. Alison helps manage the work of the inSource group's lawyers and legal professionals and heads up the inSource Ottawa location.

Another aspect of Alison's practice is advising Blakes clients on legal and governance matters relating to not-for-profit and charitable organizations, including incorporation of not-for-profits, registration of new charities, and ongoing not-for-profit corporate maintenance and charitable compliance.

From the Ottawa office, Alison and her team assist Blakes clients with the process of notarization, authentication and legalization of Canadian documents at foreign embassies for use in other countries.
