About Jenny

Jenny practises corporate and commercial law. She assists clients with a variety of business law matters, including private company mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, private equity transactions, and corporate finance. Jenny acts for clients in a wide range of industries including technology, life sciences and retail.

Prior to law school, Jenny worked as a life sciences researcher in the Centre for Blood Research at the University of British Columbia.

Recent representative matters include advising:

  • A clean-tech company on its Seed and Series A financing and various corporate matters

  • An artificial intelligence robotics company on its Seed and Series A financing and various corporate matters

  • A non-fungible token (NFT) start-up on its Seed financing

  • National Veterinary Associates on its acquisition of a number of Canadian veterinary practices

  • Next Level Games in connection with its acquisition by Nintendo

  • A Thinking Ape in connection with its acquisition by Embracer/DECA Games for US$105-million

Professional Activities

Jenny is a director with the the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (British Columbia) (FACL BC) and the vice-chair of FACL BC's Membership Committee.
