Heather maintains a broad litigation and dispute resolution practice, with a particular focus on commercial litigation and class action defence. She regularly acts for consumer companies in product liability, competition, and consumer protection matters, and represents clients across industries in complex commercial disputes. Her experience includes defending pharmaceutical and other regulated companies in high‑stakes class proceedings.
Prior to joining Blakes, Heather worked as in‑house counsel for a large Canadian retail company, gaining practical commercial insight that informs her approach to litigation and dispute management. She has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in British Columbia.
