About Huba
Huba returns to Blakes as an Articling Student after joining the firm as a summer student in 2023. She received her JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.
During her studies, Huba worked as an associate editor with the UBC Law Review and acted as director of finance for the Allard Law Women's Caucus. She also represented Allard Law at the Gale Cup Moot. Huba spent a semester at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, where she studied international and European business law.
Prior to attending law school, Huba obtained a BSc with distinction in a combined major in oceanography and biology from the University of British Columbia. She also acted as a research assistant in a botany and genetics lab.
Huba is fluent in French.
In her spare time, Huba enjoys traveling, playing video games, and trying new restaurants.
