  • A Canadian clean energy company in connection with its multimillion-dollar acquisition of a junior public oil and gas company

  • A Canadian energy company in connection with its multimillion-dollar acquisition of a natural gas supply company

  • An oilfield services company in connection with its multimillion-dollar cross border acquisition of certain assets of a sands producer

Professional Activities

Chi serves on the boards of Alberta University of Arts and Antyx Community Arts, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to engaging and empowering youth through the arts. Chi is also the co-founder and vice-president of Calgary Black Chambers, a not-for-profit organization made up of Black professionals and entrepreneurs that provides mentorship, scholarship, fellowship and advocacy for Black students and professionals. 

She also provides pro bono legal services through Pro Bono Law Alberta and mentors internationally trained lawyers through the Calgary Regional Immigrant Employment Council.
