About James
James returns to Blakes as an Articling Student after working with the Firm as a summer student in 2023. He earned his law degree from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law, where he competed in the Davies Corporate/Securities Moot, contributed to the Alberta Law Review and was named on the Dean's List.
Before attending law school, James earned a BSc with high distinction from the University of Toronto and an MSc from Western University.
Outside of work, James enjoys biking, golfing and exploring new recipes in the kitchen.
