About James
James practises corporate and securities law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, corporate governance and general corporate matters.
James has experience representing public and private issuers and underwriters on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and debt and equity securities offerings. He also assists clients with general corporate and securities law matters, including restructurings, corporate governance matters and compliance with continuous disclosure obligations and stock exchange policies.
As an articling student, James spent three months working in the legal group at a leading Canadian public issuer as part of a secondment.
