Michelle's practice focuses on financial services in the areas of banking and commercial lending, including debt financing, project financing, acquisition financing, asset-based lending and related transactional work. She regularly acts for both borrowers and lending institutions in connection with a variety of bilateral and syndicated loan transactions.

In 2021-2022, Michelle completed articles of clerkship at the Court of Appeal of Alberta. Prior to joining Blakes, Michelle completed her articles with another national law firm.
