About Katey
Katey's practice focuses on corporate commercial law. She assists clients with a variety of business law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity transactions and corporate reorganizations and restructurings.
Katey joined Blakes as a summer student in 2023 and completed her articles with the Firm in 2025. She received her JD from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and spent a semester at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam where she studied the legal developments in artificial intelligence and internet governance.
Katey holds a bachelor of science in life sciences with a minor in health studies from Queen's University.
