About Alysha

Alysha has a broad civil and commercial litigation practice. She has experience in a variety of areas, including complex tort and contractual disputes, class action defence, banking and securities litigation, and public sector and political law issues. Alysha has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and has represented clients in government and internal investigations.

Alysha also frequently advises clients on regulatory matters, in particular with respect to the Canadian Public Accountability Board and the provincial Chartered Professional Accountants regulators.

Alysha joined Blakes as a summer student in 2017 and completed her articles with the Firm in 2019/2020. During her articles, Alysha completed a secondment with the in-house legal team at Eli Lilly Canada.

Professional Activities

Alysha provides pro bono assistance to public interest organizations and individuals. She assists young people with humanitarian and compassionate applications for permanent resident status in Canada and is a volunteer at the Pro Bono Ontario Free Legal Advice Hotline, providing summary legal advice for those with low income.

Alysha is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, The Advocates' Society and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
