Laura specializes in commercial real estate law. She is involved in all aspects of real estate transactions, including title searches and preparing opinions on titles throughout the due diligence process, drafting various acts and agreements, and preparing other relevant legal documents. 

In addition to real estate transactions, Laura has experience with wills, protection mandates and the institution of protective supervision regimes. She also has significant experience in commercial leasing, including drafting lease offers, leases and lease amendments.

Prior to joining Blakes, Laura was a member of the real estate team at another major Canadian law firm, where she refined her commercial lease negotiation and drafting skills, and gained new knowledge in the field of mining law.

Laura is fluent in English, French and Romanian.
