About Logan

Logan practises corporate and securities law, with a specialized focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital markets transactions, private equity transactions and other corporate and securities law matters.

Logan has experience representing both public and private acquirors and target companies in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and plans of arrangement. He also has meaningful experience representing publicly-listed and private issuers in private equity and debt capital markets transactions.

Logan also regularly assists clients with general corporate and securities law matters, including corporate governance matters and compliance with continuous disclosure obligations and stock exchange policies.

Prior to joining Blakes, Logan practised at a leading regional law firm in Atlantic Canada.

A cross-border take-private acquisition by way of a plan of arrangement of C$95-million
Private placement of C$200-million aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes
An acquisition of a large restaurant franchise of C$50-million
