Working with the partners at Blakes, Jennifer is responsible for the recruitment and development of the Firm's associates and students. Her role includes overseeing the hiring, mentoring, work assignment and review processes. She also provides support, guidance, career and practice planning, and facilitates continuing legal education opportunities. Collectively, these responsibilities ensure the best possible platform for increasing levels of professional excellence and business advancement.

Jennifer is an experienced lawyer, having articled and practised employment law with a national firm in Vancouver from 1996 to 2003. Prior to joining Blakes, she worked as a coach and counsellor for lawyers and as a speaker at law firms, universities and legal organizations on topics including professional development, career management and work/life integration.
