About Matthew

Matthew is developing a broad litigation and dispute resolution practice. He has assisted with a range of commercial and civil disputes, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and written submissions, preparing affidavits and reviewing documentary records.

Before attending law school, Matthew worked at WorkSafeBC as a legal and insolvency clerk, where he assisted with legal proceedings involving the enforcement and collection of accounts. During law school, he served as co-editor-in-chief of the Alberta Law Review and volunteered with Student Legal Services in its Criminal Law Division. Prior to joining Blakes, Matthew completed his articles at a national business law firm, where he worked on a variety of litigation and corporate matters.
