About Meagan
Meagan is a Summer Student at Blakes. Meagan recently completed her second year at the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Law.
At the University of Manitoba, she served as a research assistant to her professors and worked as an editor on the Canadian Journal of Human Rights. During her 1L summer, Meagan worked at the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic. Meagan is the co-author of a forthcoming Supreme Court Law Review article on the development of Section 35 jurisprudence.
Prior to attending law school, she earned her bachelor of commerce from the University of British Columbia where she specialized in general business management.
Meagan sits as a co-chair on the Manitoba Law Students Association’s Sports Committee, organizing sporting events for Robson Hall students.
