About Michael
Michael joins Blakes after completing his second year of law school at the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to joining Blakes, Michael worked at a leading Saskatchewan law firm.
Before attending law school Michael obtained a B.Comm with distinction in finance from the University of Saskatchewan. While completing his finance degree, Michael was a member of the Regina Thunder Football Club.
During law school, Michael was a member of the University of Saskatchewan's negotiation moot team. Michael's team won the 2025 Canadian National Negotiation Competition and will compete at the 2025 International Negotiation Competition in London, England. Michael volunteers with Pro Bono Students Canada involved with the Indigenous Youth Outreach Project and now serves as the vice president, external for the University of Saskatchewan Law Students Association.
Outside of school, Michael enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, and traveling.
