About Michael
Michael is an Articling Student in the Corporate & Commercial group. He returns to Blakes after first joining the Firm in 2025 as a summer student.
Michael completed his juris doctor with distinction at the University of Saskatchewan.
During his legal studies, he competed in both the Canadian National Negotiation Competition and International Negotiation Competition moots. Michael also served as the VP of external affairs for the University of Saskatchewan Law Students' Association.
Prior to attending law school, Michael obtained a BComm with distinction in finance from the University of Saskatchewan. While completing his finance degree, Michael was a member of the Regina Thunder Football Club.
