About Michelle
Michelle returns to Blakes as an Articling Student after summering with the Firm in 2023. She received her JD from the University of Victoria.
During her studies, Michelle was awarded the course prize in tort law, served as a teaching assistant and research assistant to her professors, and spent a semester studying law at the National University of Singapore. Michelle represented the University of Victoria at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna where she placed in the top 25th percentile of oralists.
Prior to law school, Michelle earned her bachelor of science degree in neuroscience and physiology from the University of British Columbia.
Michelle is fluent in English and Mandarin.
