About Milla
Milla is an Articling Student in the Financial Services group. She returns to Blakes after first joining the Firm in 2026 as a summer student.
Milla completed her juris doctor at the University of Calgary. During her studies, Milla volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and worked as a caseworker with Student Legal Assistance.
Prior to attending law school, Milla obtained a BSc with distinction in kinesiology from McMaster University. She worked at the neuromuscular clinic at McMaster Children's Hospital and has two scientific research publications from her time there.
