About Natacha

Natacha practises in all areas of Canadian domestic and cross-border income tax law, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment, corporate reorganizations, public equity and debt financing, investment funds (including exchange-traded funds (ETFs)), and REITs and other real estate investment vehicles. Natacha's practice also includes advising pension funds on their investments, both in Canada and abroad.

Over the course of her career, Natacha has worked on several transactions and matters, including:

Softchoice Corporation on its C$1.8-billion going-private transaction with World Wide Technology Holding Co., LLC
Osino Resources Corp. on its sale to Shanjin International Gold Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Yintai Gold Co., Ltd.)
Reunion Gold Corporation on its business combination with G Mining Ventures Corp.
HSBC Holdings plc, as Canadian counsel, on its C$13.5-billion sale of HSBC Bank Canada and its subsidiaries to Royal Bank of Canada
Canada Post Corporation on its sale of Innovapost Inc. to Deloitte Inc. together with the establishment of an ongoing strategic partnership between the parties involving the provision of day-to-day IT operational services to Canada Post Corporation
IMCO on its expansion to manage funds for the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), new home warranty provider Tarion, Ottawa's OC Transpo transit system and the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA), with a combined C$2.6-billion in assets
Novo Nordisk A/S on its acquisition of Inversago Pharma Inc. for up to US$1.075-billion
Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) on its launch and seeding of its C$8-billion Infrastructure Pool

Professional Activities

During her articles, Natacha guest lectured in taxation law at Osgoode Hall Law School and assisted with international taxation law at McGill University. As an Associate, Natacha continues to guest lecture in taxation law and corporate taxation law at Osgoode Hall Law School and McGill University.

Natacha is currently enrolled in the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada's three-year in-depth tax program.

Natacha is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the International Fiscal Association.
