About Nick
Nick’s practice focuses on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including secured lending, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures and bond financings. He acts for institutional and private lenders, investors, developers and pension funds on transactions involving industrial, office, retail and mixed-use properties. Nick also provides real estate advice in connection with broader commercial transactions, including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions and project-based financings.
His experience includes advising clients on a variety of real estate financings, including bilateral and syndicated loan facilities, construction and project financings and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) transactions, as well as the real estate aspects of infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
Prior to joining Blakes, Nick practiced at a national law firm in Toronto.
