  • Conducting anti-corruption due diligence for clients in a variety of industries

  • Successfully acting for a multinational corporation in an arbitration relating to political risk insurance in a high risk foreign energy jurisdiction

  • Successfully representing a client in the judicial review of a decision under British Columbia’s Land Act

  • Successfully assisting an energy company in an appeal involving breach of confidence, copyright infringement and limitations periods

Professional Activities

David is a member of The Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and The Advocates' Society.

David volunteers with the Civil Claims Duty Counsel Program and the Queen's Bench Amicus Program, where he provides pro bono legal advice to unrepresented litigants. David is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association Alberta Branch editorial committee.
