About Marti

Marti has been a law clerk with the Firm since 1986. She has extensive experience in matters relating to the Personal Property Security Act and has assisted lawyers on numerous securitizations, financings and reorganizations. Many of these transactions have raised both domestic, cross-border and international personal property security issues and have required knowledge of the Canadian provincial acts, the Uniform Commercial Code and various other registry systems throughout the world.

Most recently, Marti has been involved in transactions involving environmental-related organizations, large disposal companies and the airline industry. She has also assisted with numerous equity-loan-related transactions and equipment financings involving both domestic and cross-border lenders.

Marti previously worked in the Firm's Corporate Services Department and was also coordinator of the Corporate Search Department.
