About Raina
Raina is a lawyer in training at Blakes. She returns to Blakes after first joining the Firm in 2024 as a Summer Student. She then completed a clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada for the 2025–2026 term and was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2026.
During law school, Raina worked at McGill University’s Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism, where she contributed to research and advocacy initiatives on a range of human rights legal issues.
Before attending law school, Raina held positions in the federal public service, including at the Privy Council Office, Global Affairs Canada and the Mission of Canada to the European Union.
Raina is fluent in English and French and has basic knowledge of Spanish and German.
