Casey returns to Blakes after joining the Firm as a summer student in 2020. She obtained her J.D. from Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law.
Throughout her J.D., Casey actively volunteered with the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service. In that role, she primarily assisted students with plagiarism hearings before the Faculty and University Senate. In her second year, Casey was selected to compete for the McKelvey Cup in Moncton, New Brunswick. She also completed a student clerkship with the Nova Scotia Supreme Court in her final semester.
Prior to attending law school, Casey earned a bachelor and master of arts in religious studies from Queen’s University.
In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Alberta, weightlifting, and cycling.
