Cassandra joins the Firm as a summer articled student after completing her second year at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.
While at law school, Cassandra has received the Irving K Barber Scholarship and is a two-time recipient of the Harold F and Anne Bedner Uphill Scholarship in Law. She has served as the Indigenous director of student affairs for the Law Students Society, and as the Indigenous cultural competency certificate research assistant. During her third year, Cassandra will act as the elected vice president of the Indigenous Law Students Association and as a JD coach for the Indigenous Legal Studies program.
Prior to law school, Cassandra attended the University of Calgary and received her bachelor of arts (honours) majoring in law and society. While at the University of Calgary, she received the Metis Scholars Undergraduate Award.
