About Greg

Greg has a broad civil and commercial litigation practice. He has experience with matters in a variety of areas, including complex tort and contractual disputes, constitutional law issues, media law, regulatory proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution. Greg has assisted with matters at various levels of court, including at the Supreme Court of Canada.

Greg joined Blakes as a summer student in 2017 and completed his articles at the Firm in 2019/2020.

While at law school, Greg participated in a student clerkship program at the Quebec Court of Appeal.

  • Successfully represented Toronto Star Newspapers Ltd. and its Chief Investigative Reporter, Kevin Donovan, before the Supreme Court of Canada in a precedent-setting case on openness and privacy relating to unsealing the Barry and Honey Sherman estate files for public view
Professional Activities

Greg is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations and The Advocates' Society. He also volunteers with Pro Bono Law Ontario's Duty Counsel Project.
