About Saeid

Saeid maintains a broad civil litigation and dispute resolution practice with experience in corporate governance litigation, corporate transactions law, contractual disputes, construction and privacy law.

Saeid has advised clients in banking, oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, construction and farming sectors.

He has appeared before both the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of King's Bench in Alberta.

Recent matters in which Saeid has been involved include acting for:

  • A holding company in multimillion-dollar litigation against its previous chief executive officer for breach of contract, breach of confidence, breach of fiduciary duty, and misappropriation of corporate opportunities

  • A farming company in a multimillion-dollar arbitration concerning contractual disputes

  • A mining company in a litigation matter involving claims of breach of contract and wrongful dismissal

  • A municipality in a multimillion-dollar arbitration concerning deficient construction work carried out by contractors

  • A major energy company in its multibillion-dollar arbitration involving claims in connection with the construction of significant energy infrastructure

  • A major sport institution respecting privacy matters
