About Sarah

Sarah's practice focuses on advising clients on a range of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions, including financings, public offerings, and private placements of securities. She also advises clients on corporate governance and securities regulatory matters, including the continuous disclosure obligations of public issuers.

Sarah joined Blakes as a first-year summer student in 2022 and completed her articles with the Firm in 2024/2025.

Capital Markets and Corporate Finance

  • A syndicate of underwriters in connection with the offering of C$300-million senior unsecured notes by a publicly listed energy company

  • The agent in connection with the inaugural offering of C$250-million senior unsecured debentures by Enova Power Corp.

  • dentalcorp Holdings Ltd. in connection with its C$100-million bought deal treasury and secondary offering of subordinate voting shares

  • A Canadian automotive marketplace company in connection with its Series A financing

  • Various fund managers and dealers in connection with public offerings of investment funds, including offerings by closed-end funds and "at-the-market" equity distribution programs

Governance/Advisory

  • Various public companies and boards of directors in connection with securities compliance, including corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations and stock exchange matters

Professional Activities

Sarah currently sits on the board of directors of the Kenya Education Endowment Fund.
