Simran returns to Blakes as an Articling Student after joining the Firm in the summer of 2022. She obtained her JD from the University of Calgary.

During law school, Simran worked as a research assistant with the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law with a focus on local government relationships with First Nations across Canada. She was the student representative of the Law Research Committee and Chair of Marketing and Communications for the South Asian Law Students Association. She also volunteered as a case worker with the Student Legal Assistance.

Prior to law school, Simran obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Conflict Resolution Studies and Psychology from the University of Winnipeg while working as a legal assistant.

In her spare time, Simran enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, and trying new restaurants.
