About Soheila

Soheila maintains a broad commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice, with a particular focus on complex commercial arbitration. She has assisted with proceedings before both domestic and international arbitral tribunals, advising on high-stakes matters across a wide range of industries. She has also supported clients in matters before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

Soheila holds a PhD in international law, with a focus on international investment arbitration, and an LLM from Yale Law School, reflecting her strong academic background. Prior to joining Blakes as an Articling Student, she worked with international organizations in The Hague, including the Permanent Court of Arbitration, contributing to a variety of international arbitration matters.
