About Spencer
Spencer has a broad civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice. He has experience in a variety of areas, including complex contractual disputes, constitutional and administrative law, cybersecurity and privacy law, access to information and media law, corporate law and intellectual property law. He has appeared before or assisted on matters before a wide range of decision makers, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as domestic and international arbitral tribunals.
Prior to joining Blakes, Spencer worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honourable Justice Michael Moldaver of the Supreme Court of Canada. He holds a PhD in law from Yale University.
