Sydney returns to Blakes as an Articling Student after joining the Firm as a summer student in 2022.

Sydney holds a JD (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta. During law school, Sydney volunteered as a student caseworker with Student Legal Services and was a member of the Women’s Law Forum Philanthropy Committee.

Prior to attending law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (with Distinction), also from the University of Alberta. During her undergraduate studies, she completed the Engineering Cooperative Program.

In her spare time, Sydney enjoys golfing, playing pickleball, and trying new restaurants.
