About Veronica
Veronica is an Articling Student in the Restructuring & Insolvency group. She returns to Blakes after first joining the Firm in 2025 as a summer student.
Veronica completed her juris doctor at the University of Calgary. Throughout her studies, Veronica served on the executive team for the Environmental Law Society and was president of the yearbook committee. She has published two legal research papers that relate to mining and international trade law.
Prior to attending law school, Veronica obtained an honours BSc with distinction in environmental sciences from the University of Alberta. In addition, she obtained a certificate in sustainability after completing her capstone publication.
