Yasaman returns to Blakes as an Articling Student after joining the firm as a summer student in 2023.
She obtained her JD from the University of Calgary. Prior to law school, Yasaman obtained her honours bachelor of arts, with high distinction, in political science and sociology from the University of Toronto. She also holds a master's degree in community and regional planning from the University of British Columbia.
While in law school, Yasaman volunteered with the Gender Equity in Law Association and Pro Bono Students Canada. She was also an executive with the UCalgary Law Student Ambassadors.
In her spare time, Yasaman enjoys taking dance classes, adding to her small but mighty vinyl collection, and finding the best iced latte in the city.
