About Zack
Zackary is a commercial litigator.
Before joining Blakes, Zackary practised commercial litigation at a top law firm in New York City, where he focused on high-stakes securities disputes. In the 2023-2024 judicial year, he served as a law clerk to Justice Nicholas Kasirer at the Supreme Court of Canada. Before his clerkship, Zackary was a summer and articling student at a global law firm in Toronto and Montréal, where he worked on contested M&A transactions, insolvency matters and class actions. While in law school, he served as a student law clerk to Chief Justice Manon Savard at the Court of Appeal of Quebec.
Zackary also maintains a pro bono practice. He has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board on behalf of pro bono clients, and has been involved with various other pro bono matters in Ontario, Quebec and New York.
Zackary is fluent in English and French.
