About Zhuo Er
Zhuo Er’s practice encompasses all aspects of tax law, including income tax and commodity tax.
She advises Canadian and foreign businesses on a variety of tax issues over the course of their operations, whether in transactions or in disputes with federal and provincial tax authorities. Her work includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and real estate transactions and she regularly assists employers with their tax obligations, particularly in a cross-border context.
Zhuo Er has significant experience in commodity tax issues, including the goods and services/harmonized sales tax (GST/HST) and the Québec sales tax (QST).
Prior to joining Blakes, Zhuo Er worked as a tax lawyer for a leading national law firm.
