About John

John's practice focuses on regulatory compliance, as well as commercial and corporate matters in the technology and communications industries.

John helps telecommunications, satellite and broadcasting companies navigate Canada's regulatory framework, notably interacting with regulatory authorities regarding policy proceedings, licensing matters, ongoing filings and equipment certifications.

He regularly provides guidance on regulatory requirements in a variety of industries, including in relation to life sciences, consumer protection and e-commerce matters. As part of his cybersecurity and data protection practice, John assists clients with cybersecurity and privacy matters, including preparing for and responding to data breaches.

John also advises clients in the context of commercial agreements and corporate transactions, with a focus on technology, communications and intellectual property-centred companies.

He is fluent in English and French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
