Chad practises corporate and securities law with a primary focus in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity investments, corporate governance, shareholder activism, work-outs and restructurings, and continuous disclosure compliance.
Chad has assisted numerous buyers, sellers, acquired companies and special committees in M&A transactions involving domestic and foreign parties. Chad also has extensive experience in representing publicly traded issuers listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the TSX Venture Exchange, as well as a number of private companies and private equity sponsors and investors. He has acted on behalf of underwriters and dealers in domestic and foreign public and private offerings of equity and debt.
Chad acts on public and private transactions in a variety of sectors, including the energy sector and corporate debt and equity offerings and restructurings. Chad also assists clients with corporate governance and general corporate and commercial matters.
