Winners are selected for their exceptional legal expertise, business savvy, and innovative, effective solutions. This is the third consecutive year Greg has been honoured with this recognition. Previous winners include Brian Facey and Paul Schabas.
Greg has built a strong corporate practice, specializing in negotiated mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures, primarily in the financial services area. He is also the relationship partner for many leading corporate clients. Throughout the years, Greg has chaired and spoken at a number of programs on M&A-related topics, and has been noted as a leading corporate/M&A lawyer in a long list of publications that rate legal professionals.
Michael is a leading corporate and commercial litigation lawyer. He has very extensive trial experience in complex cases and represents clients with Canadian and worldwide interests in litigation, arbitration and regulatory proceedings. As an active member of the legal community, he is currently a director of the Canadian Energy Law Foundation and is also involved with various arbitration organizations. Michael is continuously recognized in various legal trade publications in his areas of expertise.
