Blakes Named Canada’s Top Employers for Young People for Fourth Time

Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) has been named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People for the fourth year in a row in 2024. This award recognizes the Firm’s dynamic and inclusive culture and our investments in opportunities for young professionals through recruitment, training and career development.

Blakes is dedicated to nurturing the growth of young professionals through various initiatives. From comprehensive health and mental health benefits to a robust mentorship program that creates supportive connections throughout the Firm, we invest in the well-being and development of our team members. In addition to running the largest law student program in Canada, Blakes also cultivates strong ties with post-secondary institutions, offering meaningful, paid opportunities for students and graduates across various business functions. In the past year, we welcomed 96 summer law students, 74 articling students, and 41 co-op students in our Canadian offices. Additionally, Blakes provides paid internships to students from racialized communities, offering valuable experience in a business law environment.
