Defending Consumer Protection Class Actions in Canada

June 7, 2022 - 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

We have seen a growing number of consumer protection class actions across Canada in the last few years. We have also seen a growing body of case law addressing the certification issues raised by these actions.

Please join members of our national Class Actions team for a discussion on the latest developments in the Canadian consumer protection class actions space. The session will examine trends at both the filing and certification stages and analyze the potential impact of recent decisions on the defence of these class actions going forward.

A brief Q&A session will follow the presentation.
