Pensions Webinar Series: Pension Regulatory Guidance on Cybersecurity Issues

Please join members of the Pensions, Benefits & Executive Compensation, Privacy and Financial Services groups for a discussion of regulatory guidance on cybersecurity issues applicable to pension plans.

The session will discuss draft guidance recently released by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) and will also draw on experiences of other regulators such as the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) in connection with their requirements for federally regulated financial institutions.


  • Review of draft guidance from FSRA

  • Discussion on related guidance from OSFI for federally regulated financial institutions

  • Discussion on OSFI’s proposal for federally regulated pension plans

  • Review of privacy law requirements when responding to privacy incidents and best practices when interacting with privacy regulators
