About Adam

Adam's practice is focused on trademark law and regulatory matters.

Adam provides practical advice to clients on the protection and enforcement of their intellectual property, including trademarks and copyrights. He also works on commercial transactions involving intellectual property and represents clients in intellectual property disputes, including Internet and domain name-related disputes.

As a Trademark Agent, Adam advises on the registrability of trademarks and files and prosecutes trademark applications in Canada. 

Businesses across a wide range of industries can benefit from Adam's counsel on marketing and advertising laws in Canada, including in relation to product packaging and labelling, advertising campaigns, promotional contests, and the activities of social media influencers. 

Before joining Blakes, Adam practised with some of Canada's leading intellectual property law firms. 

Professional Activities

Adam is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and the Toronto Intellectual Property Group (TIPG). He also serves on the Academic Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA).
