  • Negotiating regulatory responsibilities under manufacturing, co-packaging, transportation and distribution agreements for all actors in the supply chain (including brand owners, contract manufacturers, 3PLs, wholesalers and retailers)

  • Advising national health management companies on both deal and ongoing operational structuring issues, including with respect to federal and local ownership restrictions, inter-company revenue analysis, and contracts with regulated professionals

  • Helping foreign clients launch, reformulate and adapt their products for the Canadian market (including with respect to product composition, packaging, marketing materials and promotional campaigns)

  • Advising a foreign purchaser on the acquisition of a large portfolio of seniors' homes across Canada

  • Drafting and negotiating sponsorship and marketing agreements, product offers and campaigns, including arrangements involving social media influencers

  • Resolving disputes between companies and regulatory officials in relation to legislative obligations, administrative and policy mandates (including in relation to product recalls, packaging and claims compliance, reporting requirements, competitor complaints, and facility inspection findings)
