About Lindsay
Lindsay practises all aspects of commercial litigation and arbitration with a focus on complex contract construction, infrastructure, and energy disputes. She regularly represents clients in both international and domestic commercial arbitrations, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC), and ad hoc arbitrations.
Lindsay has represented clients at all levels of Court in Alberta, in regulatory proceedings before the Alberta Energy Regulator and the Alberta Securities Commission, and in matters before the Northwest Territories Supreme Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Lindsay has also represented clients in applications for judicial review involving municipal law issues.
Lindsay is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). She is an elected director and the Alberta Chapter Chair of the Canada Branch of CIArb. Lindsay is also an elected member of the Y-ADR Steering Committee of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR) and a member of the Canada Advisory Board of CPR. She is a member of the ICC Canada Arbitration Committee.
At Blakes, Lindsay is a co-chair of the Calgary Student Committee.
