Megan’s practice focuses on power, infrastructure and mergers and acquisitions, and encompasses a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including franchising and distribution arrangements. She is regularly engaged on significant transactions throughout Canada in a variety of industry sectors and asset classes, including in the social infrastructure, health-care, transportation and renewable energy sectors.
In her general commercial practice, Megan assists domestic and international clients on a full range of commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating complex service and distribution agreements, major equipment supply agreements, operations and maintenance agreements, business structuring, procurement processes, internal reorganizations, and corporate governance issues.
In 2012, Megan completed a secondment at a major international retailer where she worked on a variety of corporate commercial matters. She previously completed a secondment at the Canadian Civil Liberties Association.
